الحَمْدُ لِلَّه / Al-ham-du-lil-lah
Alhamdulillah means “All praise is for Allah” and is said to thank Allah for any blessing.
Alhamdulillah is one of the most loved phrases in a Muslim’s daily life. It is said after eating, after sneezing, after good news, and even during hard times as a reminder that everything ultimately comes from Allah. The phrase opens Surah Al-Fatihah, recited in every unit of Salah. Saying it builds gratitude and contentment in the heart.
