Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Norai, including the website, mobile application, downloadable learning content, and related learning services.
By accessing or using Norai, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
1. Description of the service
Norai is a Quranic Arabic learning application focused on helping learners build familiarity with Quranic vocabulary through structured lessons, guided practice, recitation audio, and repetition based learning.
The service may include:
- Quranic Arabic vocabulary learning across structured levels
- Audio supported learning
- Guided practice activities
- Progress and mastery tracking
- Parent and family dashboard tools
- Offline learning support
- Downloadable learning content Availability of certain features may vary depending on the plan or platform.
2. Eligibility
By using Norai, you confirm that:
- You meet the minimum age requirements applicable in your jurisdiction, or
- You are using the service under the supervision of a parent or guardian If creating learner profiles for minor learners, you confirm that you are the learner's parent or legal guardian.
3. Accounts and learner profiles
Norai supports:
- Parent accounts
- Adult learner accounts
- Parent managed minor learner profiles Parent and adult accounts may use email based authentication or supported sign in methods.
Minor learner profiles:
- Are created and managed by parents or guardians
- May include learner name, gender, and date of birth
- Do not have independent account ownership
- Access learning sessions through a parent managed QR based learner login flow
- Cannot manage billing, subscriptions, or account settings You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and associated learner profiles.
4. Parent and Guardian Responsibility
Parents or guardians are responsible for creating, managing, supervising, and deleting minor learner profiles connected to their account.
Children should use Norai under parent or guardian supervision. Norai does not replace parents, teachers, qualified Islamic scholars, or formal religious education.
5. Device Access and Device Binding
Norai limits access based on account, subscription plan, device count, active session, and device binding rules.
Norai restricts supported account, learner profile, or subscription access to one active device at a time under its device binding rules, where this restriction applies to the selected plan or access type.
If a user logs out, changes device, reinstalls the app, or exceeds allowed device limits, Norai requires re-login, re-verification, device re-linking, or subscription validation.
Device access controls protect accounts, manage offline learning, prevent access conflicts, and maintain subscription access rules.
6. Offline learning
Norai is designed with an offline first learning system.
Downloaded lessons, audio, and learning content may continue functioning without internet access. Progress and learning activity may synchronize automatically once connectivity becomes available.
7. Offline Access Verification
Offline lesson packs may be available depending on the user’s plan, account status, and device status.
Offline access may require periodic account, device, or subscription verification. If verification is required and cannot be completed, some offline features may be limited until verification is restored.
8. Educational Reminders and Notifications
Norai may provide educational reminders, progress notices, account alerts, and family learning updates where notifications are enabled.
These reminders are provided only as learning support. They do not replace parents, guardians, teachers, qualified Islamic scholars, or formal religious education.
Norai does not send tafseer, fatwa, religious rulings, AI-generated Quranic meanings, or religious interpretation through push notifications.
For minor learner profiles, notification access and child-related reminders are controlled by parents or guardians.
9. Free plan
Norai offers a free plan with no time limit.
The free plan may include access to:
- Quranic learning content
- Audio recitation
- Basic guided practice features Availability of features may change over time with reasonable notice.
10. Paid plans and subscriptions
Norai may offer paid subscription plans that provide additional features, family tools, dashboard functionality, enhanced progress visibility, or expanded learning support tools.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
Billing is handled by Karsaaz EBS Technology Solutions FZCO (United Arab Emirates), acting as Merchant of Record.
11. Subscription Feature Clarity
Some Norai features require a paid subscription. Store listings, in-app screens, website pages, and policy pages must clearly identify which features are free and which require subscription access.
Features such as offline lesson packs, audio downloads, progress tracking, word mastery tracking, family dashboard tools, and parent-managed learner profile features may require a paid plan where applicable.
Paid feature access is determined by NorAI backend entitlement records after payment or subscription status is verified through the relevant approved payment provider.
A purchase success screen, local receipt flag, checkout redirect, screenshot, or unverified payment claim does not activate paid access by itself.
A subscription purchased through one approved channel may be recognized on other supported platforms when the user signs into the same NorAI account, subject to provider rules, account status, and NorAI entitlement verification.
NorAI may prevent duplicate purchase actions where an active subscription or entitlement is already recognized for the account.
12. Family Plan Access
Family Plan access may include parent-managed learner profiles, family dashboard tools, progress visibility, and child profile management features.
Parent-managed learner profiles and family management tools may require a Family Plan where applicable. Minor learners cannot purchase subscriptions, access billing settings, or manage account plans.
Adult learners can access parent mode, family management features, or parent-managed learner profile tools only when those features are included in their active plan or subscription. If the required plan or subscription is not active, parent mode or family management options may be unavailable.
13. Minor Learner Safety and Restricted Access
Norai is designed with a parent managed learning structure for minor learners.
Minor learners are not shown:
- Billing or subscription interfaces
- Pricing information
- Payment prompts
- Advertisements during learning sessions
- External social or communication systems Sensitive account actions remain accessible only to parents or adult account holders.
14. No Public Child Interaction

Minor learners cannot contact strangers, be contacted by strangers, share location publicly, or publish user-generated public content through Norai.
