Tashahhud is the sitting portion of Salah where Muslims recite specific supplications, declarations of faith, and blessings upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

In Islam, Tashahhud is an important part of Salah and is recited while sitting after the second Rakat and at the end of the prayer. During Tashahhud, Muslims recite words of praise, peace, and testimony of faith known as the Shahadah.
