الصيام / As-Si-yaam
Fasting is an important act of worship in Islam where Muslims avoid food, drink, and other physical needs from dawn until sunset.
Fasting in Islam is observed during the holy month of Ramadan as one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Muslims practice fasting to strengthen self-discipline, increase faith, and develop gratitude and patience. Fasting also encourages spiritual reflection, prayer, charity, and a stronger connection with Allah through worship and obedience.
