Hajj Islamic Pilgrimage in Islam

Hajj is the largest Islamic pilgrimage in the world and takes place during the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah. Millions of Muslims gather in Makkah each year to perform a series of sacred rituals that follow the traditions of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

The rituals of Hajj include Tawaf around the Kaaba, walking between Safa and Marwah, standing at Arafat in prayer, spending time in Mina, and symbolic acts that reflect faith, sacrifice, unity, and submission to Allah. Muslims wear simple white garments during Hajj to symbolize equality and humility before their Creator.

The Hajj pilgrimage is not only a physical journey but also a spiritual experience that encourages repentance, self-reflection, patience, and closeness to Allah. For many Muslims, completing Hajj is one of the most meaningful moments of their lives and a reminder of the unity of the global Muslim community.
